APPERLEY LADIES (not an oxymoron ... despite what TC says!)

The Ladies Team is a very welcome addition to the club. The team was instigated by Cath Butler about 6years ago (the quiet Butler. I know, scary thought! naah, they are all lovely really) and has grown rapidly over the last few years. On 8th (ta, for the correction Jade) June they played the 1976 men's side and lost out against the old boys. A valiant, if ultimately losing, effort against St Fagans in the National Knockout cup despite the excellent batting from Helen and Emma Bunyan.
